Safety Advisories & Disclosures
Please review these safety precautions before attempting any DIY upcycling project.
General DIY Workshop Safety
DIY projects carry inherent risks of personal injury if tools or materials are handled improperly. Always observe standard workshop hygiene:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear eye protection when cutting, drilling, sawing, or handling chemical baths (vinegar, solvents).
- Cut Protection: Use utility knives cutting away from your body on a stable cutting mat. Never hold small objects in your hand while drilling or sawing.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate cross-ventilation when working with hot adhesives, spray paints, rust converters, or soldering equipment.
- Child & Pet Safety: Keep sharp tools, superglue, neodymium magnets, and small hardware away from children and pets.
